Frank Carbajal, author of Building the Latino Future: Success Stories for the Next Generation, had an idea: bring together Latino leaders in government, business and venture capital firms to create new synergies and opportunities. And where better to do that but in the heart of our nation’s venture capital activity: Sand Hill Road in Menlo Park.
The Leadership Summit will bring together 150 business, government, educators, industry leaders, as well as group of selected MBA, and undergraduate students, for a one-day conference at Quadrus Center on Sand Hill Road in Menlo Park. The Conference is designed to inspire and develop innovative change for future Latino generations with insights and knowledge to compete in today’s world with social, political, and economic transformation.Latino thought leaders and speakers include:
Honorable Rafael Anchia, Texas House of Representatives
Dick Gonzalez, VP, Safeway
Michael Lopez, President, Hispanic-Net
Roberto Medrano, SOA Software
Alicia Morga, Chairman & CEO, Consorte Media
Margarita Quihuis, Chairman, Hispanic-Net
Eduardo Rallo, Managing Partner, Pacific Community Ventures
Miriam Rivera, Trustee, Stanford University
Dr. Robert Rodriguez
Graciela Tiscareño-Sato, Founder, Gracefully Global
Isabel Valdes, Founder, Isabel Valdes Consulting
The 2010 Latino Leadership Summit will take place on Saturday, May 15th from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Event location will be the Quadrus Conference Center at 2400 Sand Hill Road.

I would like to propose not to wait until you earn enough amount of money to buy goods! You should get the home loans or just small business loan and feel yourself comfortable

If you think you are beaten, you are
If you think you dare not, you don't,
If you like to win, but you think you can't
It is almost certain you won't. Do you think so?

Scarcity of food markets? Not in this immediate part of the neighborhood -there's a Super Foodtown, Bravo, and a few fruit/veggie stands a couple of blocks away. In the summers there's a farmer's market that has gained momentum.

Very cute! I LOVE the color, too.
